I can't get up that high to spray. Me on a ladder is an accident waiting to happen and I only have a 6 foot step ladder. Can you spray it with a water hose??? Local churches at times have groups that help people for just a donation. 200.00 is really high I agree.
Mother nature certainly is an earnest lassy. She grows weeds profusely in my garden on any inch of open ground. She keeps me very busy all year. What would we do without her? Maybe let the tree grow a bit more until who removes it can transplant it somewhere where it can be enjoyed.I can't reach it with the equipment or tools (it's about 20 feet up) I have and to pay someone $200 just to pull it out seems excessive. Looks like it's growing right where the downspout is.

When he's done there, send him up here.Yeah my son came and cleaned mine. They had four inches of stuff in them and were growing all kinds of plants. He stopped by and asked if I needed anything done. I had to hold the ladder steady for him while he was up there. If he hadn't come by they would have stuff growing in them for another 5 years because there is no way I was going to hire someone to clean them. Gutters are a pain.
Ya. I was surprised when he showed up that day. I had to pinch myself to make sure I was awake. When he's done there, send him up here.
Did you hire him?I looked for gutter cleaning services and there aren't any within 20 miles. That's probably why the one I contacted charged so much - travel fee.
No.Did you hire him?
The nutrients in the dirt that accumulated there.I can't understand what would provide enough to get the seed started growing.
I bet he didn't.At my former house, I could get out on the downstairs porch roofs from an upstairs window to clean the gutters since they were only on the porch roofs. That were a lot of big maples around which made it necessary. When I had the roof put on my new house, the roofer said he's do a gutter inspection. When he was done I asked how the gutters were. He looked puzzled for a moment than said, 'Yeah, okay." He didn't seem assertive in his reply so I wonder if he really did one.

I've used a very similar tool. It pushes the crud down to one end and then over the side. Then I'd spray the gutter with a hooked spayer attachment on the garden hose. That looks like something that just pushes the crud along without actually removing it.
your right please don't even try it! Better safe than sorry!$200 would be money well spent and could save many times that in avoided repair costs, but wait till the leaves are off the trees.
Pls don't try to diy, even w help.
