Pump switching scam. Thieves try to scare off driver/customer

Apparently a pump switching scam is trending in Pennsylvania. While a person is pumping gas the scammer will ask them to pump the gas for them in a very aggressive manner trying to grab the pump handle forcing many to drive off mid transaction without putting the handle back. This scammer then pumps gas into their or other cars leaving the bill for the person they intimidated into leaving.

What some scammers do is offer to pump gas for others for $20 in cash. So they not only get free gas but can get cash.

There's an easy solution for this.....aim the pump handle at the crook, especially at their face, and pull the trigger.
