While hunting for food bargains a local store had a one pound package of 4 real hamburger patties reduced from $5 to $3. These were pre made and packaged in another location/factory. The color looked good but there was alot of condensation underneath the original wrap(preprinted label still on). Looked for sell by or expiration date but couldn't find one
The condensation is either from coming out of a freezer or very cold refrigeration display. Or they were too close to display lighting which means they were exposed to warmer temperatures for a period of time.
I think they would've been ok but didn't buy.
Condensation on any meat package a risk? There were no signs of ice or frost as well
