Prepackaged hamburger patties, condensation in package, would you buy?

While hunting for food bargains a local store had a one pound package of 4 real hamburger patties reduced from $5 to $3. These were pre made and packaged in another location/factory. The color looked good but there was alot of condensation underneath the original wrap(preprinted label still on). Looked for sell by or expiration date but couldn't find one

The condensation is either from coming out of a freezer or very cold refrigeration display. Or they were too close to display lighting which means they were exposed to warmer temperatures for a period of time.

I think they would've been ok but didn't buy.

Condensation on any meat package a risk? There were no signs of ice or frost as well

It's possible it may have formed from the time it took to unload it, check it in and stock it in the case. It's not anything to worry about. As long as the food isn't discolored and you see no frost you're good. However, I wouldn't buy without a use by date.

No sell by or expiration date and I don't buy. No way.
Don't know that color is a trustworthy measure for hamburger patties either, what with artificial color and all.
If the sell by was in good order, a little condensation wouldn't bother me so much I don't think.
All that said, trust your instincts ... if you can't trust what's in front of you.

It was kind of funny. I mean, we can laugh now. Or can we? I guess I am hoping for the best outcome.
