Deer Charges into a Restaurant to Check if They're Serving Venison

Naughty! Naughty! I thought the forum rule was not to employ bait and switch thread titling. So we are not going to be talking here about an unusual or amusing animal event, but rather the difference between news casters of old and those today (or maybe even politics). I don't think this thread meets the rules of the forum nor respects them. What do you think?😔

Check the OP link again. It's a deer in a restaurant. Nothing to do with news or politics.

That was cute. Diners scurried away in such a hurry even though it was a young buck and not really intimidating. :)

All I saw was the story and a video about the deer looking for the salad bar....
"Oh the good old days when Walter Cronkite, would report the real news, not conspiracy theories, and keep his personal political views to himself. The same with Huntley and Brinkley. " I see this in the thread on my screen, too.

Myself and others are still baffled by your comments. Are you saying that you somehow were directed by the OP's link to a site that featured "difference between news casters of old and those today" material?

I don't see the connection between the title of the thread and the remark about the 'good old days' vs today's news casters. What's the connection? This is what my remark was pointing out. There does not seem to be a connection between the two.

Maybe the point is that todays headlines are about dumb stuff, when yesterdays news was always important and reliable.? I don't think so. I remember all kinds of human interest stories all the way back to our black and white TV.

I'm not exactly a certified deer psychologist. It's the rutting season. It's the deer version of spring break. But I do get the feeling this buck saw the reflection of a 'buck' in the glass door, and charged at it. The door opened and he ran into the store.?????
Oh, the things we, males, have do to get a little loving.
