How did you pick your forum name

...and this is what I think of as an Old Age pensioner
Looks to be a pretty, hot dish to me. Love your sway. (y)

So what are people called by officialdom once they reach retirement age ? ...and if for example you're being described by the common man Joe Jones.. what would he say... when describing and elderly person..?...
"Retired" would be the word. Also, 'senior' or 'seniors'. I don't think we in the U.S. have a singular word or acronym equal to your 'OAP'.

It was a nickname that my Grandpa called me when I was little.
Me too, Pinks. When I first joined the forum, my name was Ruby, but RubyK thought it might be confusing for people. So I asked Matrix to change it. My forum name is now my grandfather's nickname for me. When I was born, he kept saying, “Bella bambina”, and it stuck.

From the movie 'Jeremiah Johnson'.

Bear Claw Chris Lapp:
You've come far pilgrim.

Jeremiah Johnson:
Feels like far.

Bear Claw Chris Lapp:
Were it worth the trouble?

Jeremiah Johnson:
What trouble?

Seemed to sum up my life so far...
You're not the one who was married to a panther are you?

Della was my grandmother's name (born 1880.) I just like the old names.
