2023 - How's the Weather Where You Are?

Of course. I'm out there with my dog rain or shine. Coats are for woosies. :D

But seriously, you warm up as you move around.

My dog is well on the mend after a worrying time ill, so as long as he's enjoying it, we'll keep doing it!
very pleased to hear little pooch is recovering well.. but I'm sure he'd want you to wear a jumper at least...:D

Canada has varied climate .. seeing changes though. Vancouver seems to be getting more snow in the past few winters. When I was growing up there, I never needed snow boots. I wore rain boots through the winters.
Like everywhere , I suppose. Climate change etc..

When I was little in Scotland, we always had to wear welly boots in winter, because of snow.,

Our relatives in Toronto regularly sent us pictures of their house up to the Eaves in snow, and trying to dig themselves out.. I don't know if Toronto i like that still, do you Pinks ?

-1°C currently with RealFeel of 0°C. Snow began late on Friday 1 DEC and this morning, Saturday 2 DEC, all the snow is still here. Frankly worried, there might be ice on pavements and roads underneath the snow.

Not going out, too worried of drivers caught without snow tires to go into decor. I'll add pics later...

Very rare for any drivers in the Uk to have snow tyres on their cars... it's not something we do, because the weather is too intermittent..

from the guardian

It is estimated only 3% of car owners in Britain have winter tyres fitted – maybe because few people realise they are not just for snow but can cut accidents in wet and cold conditions as well

Woke up to snow this morning! Lovely sight to see as it's not often that we get snow in this part of Cumbria. Only a light covering so I braved it and walked down to the nearby shops for a newspaper etc. I can walk unaided since my hip replacement but to be on the safe side I used my walking stick. It was fine though, not icy. I'd just got back in the house when it started snowing quite heavily. Stopped now but it looks like we might get some more.❄️

Southern Tier of NY-40 degrees and rain-it might get up to 50 this coming week but rain today and into next few days.
I am in a low cloud and there is no visibility at all beyond about 150 feet.

Just like being in a plane -going through clouds.

I went to Times Square on New Years eve about 50 years ago and it was 65 degrees in NY city when they dropped the New Year's Eve ball.

Hols, at age 20, when I first arrived in Toronto in December .. I was stunned to see how much snow there was. First thing I did, was purchase a warm winter coat, high boots, and a fur hat (which was the fashion at that time) - and, yes, there was a lot of snow. It was the first time I'd seen salt/sand trucks too. My world really did change .. also, the summers (humid).

Sunny with clouds and 0 degrees Celsius
It’s a grand day for cookie making.

This is a photo off the web. Mine didn’t get a chance to get decorated before they were eaten.
