Carly Fiorina says God answers her prayers so, who knows, she could be the one!

In an interview yesterday she stated that she believes that God has a plan for her. With past prayers answered, she seems like the inevitable winner in her mind, how about yours?

Carly Fiorina is an ex-ceo who has entered the Republican primary race for president...

Not to worry, I doubt that even with God on her side that she can can pull this off, but for more info, just Google her name...

Anything to back up your "God has a plan for her" statement?

All I can find is :
Growing up, Carly’s mom taught her an essential lesson:
“What you are is God’s gift to you.
What you make of yourself is your gift to God.”
I've heard that before. It's not really remarkable.

There is a lot more about her being first female CEO of a Fortune 50 business (Hewlett Packard).
Are you experiencing tunnel vision here, Ralphy?

Nope, I can't provide you with a tape of her interview on one of our Sunday morning talking heads shows, so you will just have tio take my word for it. It was surprising to me that she really laid out how she believes that God has intervened in her life and answered her prayers, and that God has a plan for her...

Nothing unusual about that statement either. I would like to see the verbatim text.

Here is another quote from her

For Fiorina, the setting was an opportunity to discuss her own religious evolution, a narrative that will likely be central to her story on the campaign trail should she run for president, and a key to her conservative appeal.

“I think our faith is deeply personal,” Fiorina said. “There was a period of time in my life when my faith got to be kind of abstract. I prayed, but I sort of felt that God was a super CEO: He couldn’t possibly know the detail of every life.”

But Fiorina said her faith changed after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2009, and when her step-daughter Lori Ann died at age 35 during Fiorina’s Senate campaign in California.

“Jesus was with me in a very personal way,” Fiorina said. “And I think the power of our faith is that we know, we believe, we see every day that God cares about each one of us.”

It's not unusual for people who have had life threatening experiences or painful loss to feel that God have been part of that journey.

If I were you, I'd look more carefully are her track record as a leader. What is her style? How does she make important decisions? Autocrat or collegiate leader of a team?
So far you have been merely nit picking.

I have an OP assistant already. :D Also, she isn't in the top ten of contenders in the polls...

Here's all you need to know about Fiorina... This was a campaign ad from her last failed bid for public office... the infamous depiction of her opponent as the "Devil Sheep" lol!!

But my boy, Linc, will be coming out Wednesday, not out of a closet, but as a great candidate. And the only candidate, as I recall, that did not vote for the War in Iraq when he was senator...:love_heart:

Bernie Sanders didn't either. Or do you mean Republican candidates. Rand Paul said he WOULD have voted NO.
