I do not personally know anything about anyone on here. All I can do is respond to what they post. We have several posters who continue to post anti-Israel material, which shows to me they are pro-Hamas, even though they deny it. When someone posts a screed about white men raping black women, which is vary rare, but doesn't mention black men raping white women, which is very common, that person, based totally on their own post, is seen as racist. Good on you for defending your friend, but the rest of us can only go by what they post.

It's amazing how people think they can tell us about us! I've experienced it as a Black woman and as a Muslim. It's also unbelievable that Newbies come on here and act like know it alls. Act like they know us. I was on this forum for between 18 months and 2 years before I felt I had a good idea of the characteristics, ethics and MOs of the most active members. Sometimes, I found out I had it wrong, but mostly I got it right.
Another thing, I didn't see Pansies replies after a point because I have her on Ignore, but I got the gist. I'd make a p** poor racist, I tell ya. My best friend for 46 years is White and I can't imagine my life without her, my work family was mostly White (two were Jewish). We were Black, White, Hispanic, Christians (I hadn't accepted Islam yet) & Jews.
We solved cases together, we broke bread together, including during picnics in the park, celebrated each other's birthdays and milestones. We even attended a baseball game to support our Hispanic co-worker/friend who's team was up against ourJewish co-worker's husband's team. That was huge...because I hate baseball.
I salute you for having my back, speaking your truth and not letting bigots define or intimidate you.
