From the article:
Americans would rather clean prison toilets, name their child ‘Taxes’ than deal with the IRS
Really how could anybody gripe about the IRS?
Sounds like New Jersey's Division of Motor Vehicles. Ancient 30 year old computer system. From the article:
haha, not me, I would rather just pay my taxes so I don't have to clean prison toilets. Like any gigantic organization, the IRS is confusing and seemingly incoherent...but not nearly as bad as California's Franchise Tax Board. It's my understanding that the CA FTB is still suffering from the result of a computer network system that's been cobbled together and patched, a mix-mash of new and old.

I guess if I thought hard maybe I could come up with something.
Like..... Why do we have to use a commercial tax agency to file Federal/State online tax forms. Why can H&R Block submit tax documents to the IRS, online, while I can't? The IRS has no problem accepting my online tax payments, why can't it accept my tax returns without me having to pay someone to submit it to them?
Thank you. But the average person can't file directly to the IRS electronically. There's no public IRS website where you go to fill out the forms, and submit them.
