Well you didn't say how old. Obviously then Godzila Minus One wasn't produced for 5-6 yr. olds.Obviously many young cannot read subtitles, @Nathan. I was six when I first met Godzilla; my son was five.

...sounds pretty normal to me!I grew up in a small town in the late 1950's. I loved 'Monster Movies (MM)'! We could find a few black and white MM's on TV, but the good ones would eventually show up in our downtown theater. Early on they usually, were black and white but some were color, that was a real treat! I recall all the Japanese movies in black and white on TV. Godzilla movies were common. I have actually watched these moving throughout my life anytime I can find them... I still love old and new monster movies, science fiction, slash movies, etc. I have always loved it all.....
I guess I am a bit twisted on this...
We think alike...! On many things....sounds pretty normal to me!![]()
It's set in postwar Japan, and the devastation has left it at zero.Minus one what?
That's why you're Mr Pants! Those pics are priceless! Especially the one on the right were the guy has only the bottom half of the Godzilla suit on![]()
I agree completely with this guy. It was one of the best movies I've seen in some time. A thinking person's movie.Hey, @Nathan -
This movie critic youtuber who calls himself The Critical Drinker posted a review of Godzilla Minus One that's totally worth 8-minutes and 45-seconds of your time (imo).

I took my grandson to see it. He's 15, and a HUGE fan. At certain points, he got teary-eyed, not because the scenes were emotional but because they were gloriously nostalgic...iconic throwbacks to so many of the early Godzilla movies that made him a fan.Every now and then, I've got to have me some Godzilla. This is left over from my childhood when going to the theater to see Godzilla movies with my friends was one of the more fun things I did. My son, two youngest grandchildren (teens then) and I saw Godzilla King Of The Monsters in the theater in 2019, It was a fun movie and we recognized that it was left open for another film to follow. It does look good, but don't think I'll see this one in the theater though, especially since it's subtitled. I'll wait until it streams. I have some older Godzilla movies in my queues to tide me over.![]()
