I'm so sorry Patty. I did like your answer. I was running a wood splitter all morning, and I was kinda tired as I was zipping through answers, and somehow I thought I caught them all, but I missed yours. I assure you it wasn't intentional.I guess Bob didnāt like my answer.![]()
Awww. That was very sweet. Itās ok if you didnāt like my answer. It was a bit hokey.I'm so sorry Patty. I did like your answer. I too feel like our thoughts are like clouds just passing through. We probably have ten thousand thoughts a day that drift through our heads, but they are not me unless I grab onto that thought and identify with it.
As for the universal consciousness. I have given extensive thought to all aspects of it for years, and have copious notes regarding it, that would be way to much to examine here, except to say that I think the mystery of life, consciousness, and apparent intricate design, may suggest more than simple accidents. I'm just not prepared to say it's anything I know. Hope that helps.
Actually I was helping out a friend. Yesterday I was on the backhoe moving logs on a job he was doing, but today he texted me and asked if I could give him a hand with processing all the rounds from the trees cut down. So hence the woodsplitter. Running it isn't hard, it's the lifting all the heavy rounds up onto the splitter that is grueling.Awww. That was very sweet. Itās ok if you didnāt like my answer. It was a bit hokey.
A wood splitter. Thatās so cool. Does this mean that you gather your own wood for a fireplace or woodstove? Maybe both?
We gather our own wood here also. We have a wood splitter too. Itās hard work but not nearly as hard without the wood splitter.
Itās estimated that humans have an average of 60,000 thoughts per day. Itās incredible. I think there are days that I dissect & analyze every one of them.lol
That universal consciousness is a heavy topic thatās very controversial. It can be like a time bomb at times so I should be more careful. The mood just struck me to be insanely spontaneous.
Thank you for your answer. That was very considerate.![]()

As for the rest, you're right. It is a very controversial and deep topic, but it can still be fun to bat around and philosophize about.
hmmm...i'm gonna need a think on this one. i'll be back.
My friend is a wonderful man, and we are kindred spirits. I would do anything for him, and vise versa. I feel lucky to have a friend like that.Youāre a good friend Bob.
You must be in good shape too.
