What Type of Tea Are You Drinking Right Now

The other day I was pleasantly surprised how well ginger works to relieve digestive issues. I’d been using it in smoothies and dobieluv said she used it in tea. Oddly enough I used to drink quite a bit of tea with fresh grated ginger & lemon but stopped in favour of delicious coffee, even though it hurts my stomach. Today I’ve decided to break that bad habit and start my day with a soothing cup of tea.

Tea is wonderful! There’s so many different varieties.

What type of tea are you drinking?
Share a picture if you’d like. Let’s see all your uniqueness when it comes to tea.

Right now I’m drinking STASH Lemon & Ginger tea with fresh grated ginger 🫚 and freshly squeezed lemon 🍋
It’s so soothing to my stomach and entire digestive system.

I like Green tea, with a dash of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey, and sometimes I throw a menthol cough drop in it, that melts with the hot tea.
I do not ever get many colds but if I feel I am getting a cold, I throw in the tea a half a packet of dry Thera Flu OTC , and it seems to help stave off colds.
I like Jasmine tea and just about all types of tea except for Red tea.

Black tea with a littl milk and barely detectable trace of sugar for me everyday, multiple times. But sometimes we’ll set up an urn for hot water in the garden for tea and it just doesn’t get hot enough for that tea but is fine for herbals. We use PG Tips black tea. I’ll get a pic of some of our favorite herbals later.

Let me see... I've two occasional teas: Masala Chai (like Christmas in a cup) and Earl Grey.

Then, a supply of regular tea, PG Tips and as a backup Tetley. In the new year, we're going back to PG Tips definitely that was the winner and our backup from time to time, will be Yorkshire tea...

I sometimes toss in a starlight mint. I drink coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon. I am out of vanilla chai and looking for something new. Mostly I drink black or green decaf. A friend gave me Sleepytime tea for evenings but I don't like the flavor of chamomile. Maybe ginger would help. Any ideas?

Ginger, unfortunately, doesn’t do anything for sleep and camomile will be in most sleep assisting teas.
Lavender, mint, passion flower, hops, lemon balm, cinnamon, holy basil, ginseng and nutmeg help with sleep.

Mint is another wonderful thing to grow in your kitchen. It’s so versatile and also very healing. Many people just pinch a few fresh leaves and add boiling water. It’s also healing for the stomach but clashes with ginger.

I’m taking more time and patience to make myself healthier drink choices and with tea, the skies the limit. It’s so versatile.

Right now I’m drinking Twinings Orange and Cinnamon. I HAD cinnamon sticks at one time as well as fresh vanilla but I must have misplaced them. I added cinnamon, cloves and orange.

Red tea- I thought it came with a Bigelow tea assortment-I have, but it is not their red rasberry tea. A friend and I tried different types of teas year ago and I dont know where we got the red tea rom but it tasted awful.
They sell it on the net ,but not at Bigelow.

What do you tea drinkers feel is the BEST English bisquit to dunk into tea?

I have a couple cups of this every day. It's very nice.

Outside your home?

Yes in a makeshift greenhouse I built back when I thought that would be helpful for starting seedlings. You can see it here, a kind of lean to on an existing shed.

Nothing fancy inside but kept in a weather tight container, they survive..

Being coastal California, a greenhouse turned out not to be particularly useful. But the shade structure I built on the eastern side of the shed worked much better.

Here are the herbals we most often choose:

I keep them outside where I drink them.
That organic Moroccan Mint green tea sounds heavenly. I used to have 5 different types of peppermint. Drinking tea outside is practically magical
