What have you bought recently?

Gloves for arthritis, my hands are so painful, I am hoping these will help.
I have fingerless gloves for my arthritis because I still want to be able to type... however as my OA is predominately in the knuckles nearest my fingernails.. I found that they weren't working because that area wasn't covered .. so I found these... It means typing with just finger and thumb but they do help a lot by keeping most fingers covered..

Well instead of shoelaces, old folks buy those Velcro-strap shoes. With those gloves you can have a thumb and finger to strap and unstrap as required. Plain old gloves wouldn't offer the necessary grip.
I have shoes with Velcro-straps..........because I have Lymphedema and can adjust the width of them because the swelling changes the size of my feet. Maybe I am an old folk but not as old as some.

Groceries are my main purchase items. I refuse to shop or buy things online, but am retired so have time to shop if I'm looking for something. I try to buy at independent shops as much as possible. I don't buy much, though, as I'm on a pretty tight budget. I don't want to hand my small bits of money over to some multi billionaires who own the mega online shopping sites. My little "line in the sand" for what it's worth!

Well I got robocalls saying I had a prescription to pick up.

I got there and it wasn't what I thought it would be. I guess the "missing" one is something the doc doesn't think I need. I asked for it to be reordered since it had no fills, when it never went through I called the doc's office and they and it was canceled but they'd send him a note. So maybe it is. Just Potassium Chloride anyway and I have some lower dose OTC for that I've taken in moderation anyway. I have a visit coming up and I can address it there.

So instead I got auto-refilled Atorvastatin.

But I think the drive-through at the pharmacy needs a recording of Bob Barker saying "Johnny, tell him what he's won!"

I spent money. I had no idea there was a "reduced" section in our meat department but heard an announcement over the PA to check out the bargains. I've been there two years and didn't know. Duh. I looked and found a package of 10 boneless pork chops for $6. Yes. They're in the freezer for the next time DS visits. DD doesn't like pork chops. DS/DSIL like pork chops. They're getting pork chops.
