Casey Anthony's parents special......

Due to nothing else being on the tube last night, I watched that joke of a "special" lie-detector show . Talk about a pair of drama-queens !!! I was surprised to see a retired FBI agent go along with / take part in such trash. He [the dad] cries at the drop of a hat .... and she has panic attacks. It's no wonder their daughter grew up to be as she is .

She [the toddler] Kaylee, was such a beautiful child , who just met evil . I suspect within her own family.

Some folks just shouldn't breed ...... period.

I watched this and have a far different opinion.

The Anthony's have been damaged beyond what many of us can imagine.
I never believed George had anything to do with Kaylee's death. I watched the entire trial on TV and was stunned at how Casey's mother tried to create doubt over Casey's guilt.

But I have a legal background and Carey's lawyer knew what he was doing and how to use Cindy to create a "reasonable doubt."

I think any mother would be unable to fully grasp the fact ,in my opinion, that their own child killed their only grandchild.

Then again, I watched every minute of the Casey Anthony trial.

Jose Baez was as impeccable, in her defense, as the great lawyer ,Johnnie Cockran was, in getting OJ Simpson off.

I didn't agree at all ,with the 'not quilty' verdicts in those cases but these were superb defense attorneys!

I have dealt with 'reasonable doubt' situations when I worked with disabled veterans who claimed service connected injuries.
But, the VA is controlled by Title 38, not criminal law.
If a veteran can put their VA claim issue into a state of "Relative Equipoise", then the doctrine of 'reasonable doubt' kicks in and VA will award them compensation for service connected disabilities.

I think this is actually a series and will have more about the Anthony family.

Drat! Forgot to watch this! Was mesmerized about this event, the trial, didn't miss a minute. My take? Casey put Kaylee in trunk of car so she could go dancing. It was probably done before, except this time, she died.

One Very Important Thing. Casey wanted an abortion, but her parents, particularly her mother, somehow made it impossible.

Yes, she was seeing a very nice young man, Tony Lazarro , but the man didn't want to get married or have children until he finished college and started making a good living. They had met on Facebook, and he only knew her personally for about a month before Caylee 'disappeared'....
She, in my opinion, based on testimony, would use chloroform to knock Cayley out ,so that she could leave Kayley in her car all night and she could be with Tony.

It reminds me of the Susan Smith case (1994) :
Smith ( married) was smitten by a man who apparently did not want to continue to see her, and he was not ready for a family- she had 2 sons.
She will be eligible for parole in November 2024 ,for drowning her two kids.

how depressing they are cashing in on the tragedy....

While i agree a good defense saved her .......someone there knows the truth..... and someone killed that child. and the others helped cover it up.
all of that family lied over and over .............a lie detector is not proof of anything as they are not foolproof....

I watched a show on Casey now ...she lives with a private detective ( roommate only) that worked on her case and is still being helped by some of the defense team ... Lots of allegations against her parents about abuse by the father to Casey. we will never know what happened because these folks believe their own version of their story.

Kids are not hobbies or something you can play with for awhile but when ... new BF / new things enter your life you can just make a child go away ..... the Anthony and Susan Smith cases show that does happen i bet many more have and no one else was caught ...yet.

I never understood why Casey just didn’t let her parents raise her daughter since they were very involved and probably would have done it. This would have released her to be free and a much better solution than killing her. I couldn’t ever forgive her if she was my child.

When I would hear the trial attorney talk about “reasonable doubt,” I would ask myself what was the legal definition of “reasonable doubt?”

I remember being in a murder trial and listening to the Prosecutor’s closing words to the jury were, “Remember, reasonable doubt is not necessarily “all” doubt.” You could see the look of awe on some of the juror’s faces. The jury was out for about 7 hours because there was a lot of evidence to go over, but the verdict came back guilty of felony murder.

I listened to the Medical Examiner’s testimony and also her interview with some magazine. The ME is very well known as one of the best in the business. Her name is Jan Garavaglia. She has done thousands of autopsies and used to have her own TV show. She has stated over and over that Caylee Anthony was murdered and still stands by that opinion.

I guess Caylee would be considered as being murdered. After all, she didn’t die of natural causes or suicide did she?

My take is they forced her into being a mother. They stopped her from having an abortion. Then, they put her in a role she couldn't handle. I don't think they wanted to raise their granddaughter, they wanted Casey to be who she couldn't be.

There were no remains to speak of that would have allowed for a factual diagnosis of her death. I think it was accidental, which of course excuses nobody.

911- I agree. I used to watch Jan Garavaglia on TV but haven't seen her show, if it is still on, in a long time.

It certainly might have been an accident but what bothers me the most, is where and how they found the remains, with duct tape near the mouth area of what was left of the skull, and a torn apart garbage bag that had held her body.
And the way Casey partied ,while she claimed the baby had been abducted.

I was not sure this was a series and it is , being on again tonight.

This in particular. I've seen it in more cases before and after this one. I see both fathers and mothers just as worried about their entertainment as they are raising their kids. I see it in behavior and dress.

Some grow up/settle down once they have a child but others it is a 'hobby' or just a box check to appease someone or everyone. Parents can go out or go to gym but the days of killing a night at a bar or on the town are/should be done until the children are MUCH older. Part of this is that there have been several generations brought up to pursue what makes them happy. Some don't or won't give their desired life up.

I haven't seen this show but what I've seen over the years it seems like an accident cover up. And like most cover ups some want to cover other things up just as much. Didn't the father have an affair or something.

The "lie detector" program is a series ? After both being pronounced as "truthful" what more is there to say about it ?

Well ... as I stated, I saw a pair of drama queens , so I may not bother with tuning in to another episode.

The prosecutor failed to read the jury pool, with the charges levied and opened the door wide open for reasonable doubt. The felonies ranged from 37.5 years before eligibility for parole, and up. The misdemeanors returned a guilty verdict. A lesser felony charge could have gotten a guilty verdict.

I'm totally sick and tired of Casey Anthony & friends. And no, I didn't watch the one last attempt to glean cash out of the death of a kid. A lie detector test will verify if you are lying, telling the truth, or if you have to urinate. And nobody is sure which answer is which.

DAs frequently over charge to leverage the defendant into a plea bargain using a lesser charge. In high profile cases DAs grand stand and/or use the same tactics in cases with with much less scrutiny and poorer defenses. For some it's the first and only game in the 'big leagues'. A case like this is a career maker/breaker.

ph test,

I disagree. I think the father, George was involved, even if he knew more than he was telling. The first story I heard was that George found the little angel floating in the pool. Even with taking a polygraph, doesn't clear anyone. Polys can be beat and are. I have seen this happen. I seen a man agree to take a poly the very next day. We knew that he knew more than he was telling, but when asked the questions, he lied and beat the poly. We later learned (from his ex-wife) that he loaded up on some type of barbiturate's before coming in.

I seldom trusted a poly, but it was a great intimidator. I saw men get so frustrated with questions the poly operator would ask that they would strip off the sensors and and run out the door, usually with a Trooper right on their heels. Talk about asking to be a person of interest. You got it!
