Thanks @seadoug. I’m trying so hard to resume some of my normal functions. It is going to be beautiful! More importantly, it is great to see you posting again on SF!
Love it.Our porch/soon-to-be sunroom is still very much a construction zone, but Ron got the fireplace work done to a point where we could actually have a fire. So….construction mess be damned, we hauled out a couple camp chairs and here we are.View attachment 325960View attachment 325961View attachment 325962
Very nice, looks to be a warm and comfortable place to relax. Our porch/soon-to-be sunroom is still very much a construction zone, but Ron got the fireplace work done to a point where we could actually have a fire. So….construction mess be damned, we hauled out a couple camp chairs and here we are.

Oh My!!!! That is fantastic!! Congrats on a marvelous job! From that first fire where nothing was finished but the fireplace was operational, to this lovely ambiance because Ron busted his butt and created the fireplace surround stone by stone to make it be beautiful!

We think alike RR! Have been planning out the plant groupings for weeks! ❤ I have some already, and some I still need to buy to create pleasing arrangements of color, texture, height etc. It's beautiful! I love stone far more than brick. Those low cabs on the sides, under the windows would look stunning loaded with plants. What direction do they face? Plants would look nice grouped in a few clusters rather than in a straight line.
