Busy one for me..

Tonight I simply HAVE to do some laundry... haven't gotten to it in 2 weeks..

Tomorrow is errand day... groceries... etc Dinner date and a movie. wine

Sunday taking 3 dogs to the low cost vet for shots and heartworm tests... THEN we have a "Shindig at the Shelter".. fund raiser for the local Animal Welfare League..

Then back to work on Monday

Well, since we rode our bikes 175 miles in the last 4 days, I think we're going to rest! :D I'll continue to work on my Flickr albums and blog. Housework and laundry and back to my murder mystery.

I had plans to attend and outing tonight, but I canceled, just too hot for an outdoor event, (temps here have consistently reach the 90's,) that doesn't involve swimwear, so netflix tonight, movies with a friend tomorrow "Jurassic Park." If it doesn't rain Sunday, as it's been doing most everyday, I'll go to the beach, maybe even go to watch the latest group of tourist having a blast at the sunset drum circle.

Hmm April, you mentioned beach. Maybe I'll take little doggie for a ride to the tame CT shoreline if the weather is good. Forget about the vacuuming!

Planting my balcony garden this weekend. Things have been delayed primarily due to the difficulty of finding my inpatients. Had to go to another village to pick it up. I am planting more than the condostapi permits, but forgiveness is easier to get than permission. Lol. The main complainer is leaving for Manitoba province for a visit shortly, and the strata president seems to ignore the rules himself. Failing all else I will plead emotional hardship, sniff....

My soybean garden was a bust... so last night I planted 4 containers of sweet corn on my patio.. for a total of 18 plants.. hope this experiment works.

QS, I have never heard of planting sweet corn on a patio, how is it done? Enjoy date night, what is the latest update on your little furbies? I wish I was not restricted to two cats, mere tokenism IMO.

I tried the gardening thing for a while, may give it another go, but this time I'm sticking with just the herbs, basil does well, not much else seems to want to survive to maturity on my lanai ie what they call a patio balcony here in floridah.

Thunderstorms here over the weekend, so no gardening, and will be worriedly looking out at all the things we have planted in the last few months and hoping they won't be ruined.Grandparent duties for Sunday, so computer games, board games and crosswords etc with them.Maybe some baking if they want to do cakes.Need to order some new books for my Kindle.

Annie, you amaze me! How you have the energy you do. I think you must be related to the Energizer Bunny, but much prettier, and far less fuzzy! Lol. Rassssspberrry!:playful:

LOL. A lot of the rides were hilly but having an electric bike helped with those a LOT. More pleasure than work, but still work.

Shali, were you affected by the windstorm that hit the mainland yesterday? We got some big thunderstorms here too, past few days, very wet.
QS, enjoy your dinner and movie date. Sounds very nice.

Speaking of thunderstorms, I just missed the one that's starting up right now. I ran out to the store for some staples and more crackers to go with the rest of my brie. :D But now the thunder is in full speed, I might get knocked off line. :(
