I'll tell you just who I am. I am me full of faults and some failings. I make mistakes but also do much good in this world 🌍 I respect people, I believe there's good in everyone even if they have done some bad things.

I try to exemplify the best in me and for the most part I succeed in that. I also am just another human being who never will be perfect and I just try to do good in this crazy world even if I'm crazy too. And being crazy is a whole other story but it's not always easy when you have challenging issues. I also like to bring humor to things that get too serious for me. Sorry this whole post is supposed to be purple but I don't know what happened!🤣

I'm generally a good person. I make and have made plenty of mistakes too, some I've learned not to do again...lol. I'm respectable. I'm very understanding. I'll cut you a lot of slack...until I don't. I mainly just try to always do the right thing. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I'm just one of about 8,019,876,189* humans on our good earth, and of near zero importance except to myself and a few loved ones. I try never to do harm or make mistakes, but on Nov 24 I fell and broke my right femur. Today, after excellent care post surgery and continuing physical therapy, I suffer great pain, and still can't take a step without a walker. Please, everyone, avoid falls. Maintain a healthy strength in your legs, and take great care to protect your overall health.

I'm no-one. No-one at all. In the great scheme of things, I'll change nothing and matter to no-one. Such is the life of a human. We like to impart importance to our actions, significance to our thoughts, but in reality we're just another. Familial claims are personal, and in the big picture are meaningless.

In the cosmic sense, I'm even less.

I am always cognizant of falling. About 8 years ago I fell down some treacherous stairs. I broke my ankle and foot. It was really hard getting down the steps. There's no elevator here unfortunately. Took me several months to recover. I still get some pain but it's manageable now. I hope you recover swiftly!

I have thought the same things a lot. It's really mind changing to realize that.
 
This thread triggered a memory....

Every day when we got home from school my mom checked to see what we had for homework. One day my 4th-grade teacher gave everyone in my class a sheet of paper with several heavy black lines across it, and the words "Who are you?" at the top.

Mom flipped out. She actually gasped, and said "That is not for you to say!" and she called the teacher. (because it used to be perfectly ok to do that)

Mrs. Flanagan gave me a different topic...I forget what, but I'll sure never forget the original one.


Anyway, apparently, it's not for me to say. 😇
