Are you a feminist?

Nobody is trying to usurp anyone's place - that statement assumes there is a place that belongs to only one gender.

Places- meaning work opportunities, roles in life etc belong equally to either ( barring biological functions like breast feeding, of course)

What abilities do you think women do not have that men have?

We know that men, on average, are physically stronger - but how does that affect equal opportunity in today's world?
I think it does not.
Hardly any of the jobs that were considered not for women, or the opportunity to work and be paid fairly at all, were so because of physical strength differences
Plus, is male physical strength absolutely necessary to drive a forklift?

Nope because my Daughter, 5'3' and 8 stones.. has a fork lift driving licence...which she got when she worked in middle management in a worldwide pharmaceutical company... Despite her job being mainly desk based, they were all (male or female) given the opportunity to learn how to operate a forklift, and as she does with everything, my DD grabbed the chance of another bow to her string...

All that said.. my DD also could beat the crap out of most men...despite being so little because she's a champion Kick Boxer,.. and martial artist.. doesn't need muscles for that either...

String to her bow?

I have skipped to here, so I haven't yet read all the replies,
but, I like women, both as people, but also as workers, I am
an Electrical Engineer, (retired), as they like to have it written,
When I ever had the choice, I would take a female electrician.

Women are very nice people, your mother was a woman,
I hope, they also work harder than men to get to the level
where they are, most manual jobs go to men, but some are
still done by women.

My first job, was to take stones out of coal, from a belt, this
was done mainly by women, but they taught us, youngsters
how to respect people and not to look down on a woman
doing a "man's", job.

So yes, I am feminist, if I understand what one is, I support
women!!!!

Mike.
