Is this forum free to join? - vs Reddit, Discord

Is this the last senior-friendly forum on the web?
Reddit deleted my post because I don't have karma.
Discord wanted me to pay for membership to join their chat room.
Their regulations are confused hard to follow.
Scam everywhere
Plus Google only shows limited search results.
The Internet is getting harder and harder for seniors.

Yeah, Google sure has changed-and so many sites are asking for money, which might be a good idea in some cases, but they are sites that really have little to offer.

I use Google Alerts once in a while, and found that they ignored one of my alerts for a long time.
I considered it censorship because it was News nationally, but maybe too political or not "woke enough"for Google to honor the alert.

'All news is fit to print!' and there are other search engines out there as well.

Yes, please stay. I don't know what goes on with Reddit. I go to several forums there. I did post something on an antiques sub there once and they deleted my post. I didn't follow one of their rules correctly I guess so I didn't go back.
