Mother put her baby into an oven

I get skeptical when I see friends (as in this case) immediately jumping in with "oh, she has mental illness!" That's a designer defense now. That and "he had a bad childhood." Just bugs me. I'm sure they'll be testing this mother for drugs, and if they're found, I'm not sure how far a "mental illness" defense will take her. "Thought I put her in her crib." Good gracious. And when you turned the freaking oven ON, did you think it was the baby's night light?! 🤬

This is horrific. She needs putting away in a mental institution forever if she's insane, or capital punishment if sane but just evil. Surely there is no end to the evil humans can do.
 
This is hardly even imaginable. So sad.

I am not making fun of this horrible situation but, there is a play on words that is a little amusing. Play on words...

"Most parent are very proud that their baby has done well, but not well done!" :eek:
 
Yeah, there are a lot of mentally ill people in this world. There are also a lot of satanic (evil) people living among us also. We have too many parents that lack good parenting skills, are mentally ill, or had been treated poorly while they were growing up, so they learned to beat your child if he/she doesn’t behave or act as they think the child should.

Many children that were beaten as they were being raised turned out to be very good parents. Fortunately, many of them learned what not to do when a child doesn’t behave or act as they thought they should. One of the more important things I learned was that there are a lot of really bad step parents.

I have too many sad stories about this topic, so I will stop here. Over my 37 years, I have seen a lot. Maybe too much.
 
I wonder what they have done about the woman? I presume any other kids will be into care and she is in prison.
I've never heard of such a thing as this.

Human depravity is endless. We really are monsters as a species. Capable of immense noble good and unbelievable evil.
