This is my first car...a 1973 Mercury Cougar X-R7 Convertible.

We have something in common. Here's my first car, a 48 Plymouth. Bought it in '57 after graduating from high school. Cost me 200 bucks. The white walls are fake.

My favorite was a Mercury Cougar, it was late 70's or early 80's model, can't remember exact year...dark navy blue....loved that car.

Not a car. A class B RV. 19’ long, front to back and it had everything. We saw a lot of Canada and the USA in it. We bought it new and had it for over 25 years. Only sold because of health.

No, that’s a much newer model. Google a 96 RoadTrek Camper-van. I found a photo but it wouldn’t download. Everything was small but it had a fridge, stove, washroom/shower, tv/vcr, AC, furnace, etc. It fit in our garage.

My Dad found this car for me to buy while in High School in Hawaii.
A 1962 Hillman Super Minx


99 horsepower, 4-speed (speed is a relative term); all you needed for an Island.
Picture it with Surfboards on the top and you got it.
My name for her was 'Wahine maika'i - which means 'Beautiful Lady' in Hawaiian.

My friends called her, " will we really get there...?"

My high school sweet heart. Engine setback 10%, Glass tilt nose, glass doors, 57 olds rear w/5.39 gears, gutted int. 46 Ford front axle, (no front brakes), 6' ladder bars, 1st of many engines was a punched over 283 and 4 speed. Kept it until 2000. Never should have sold it.

My favourite car was the Ford Sierra.. back in the early 90's.. very comfortable smooth drive...plush upholstery ( not my car in the pic)
