We have something in common. Here's my first car, a 48 Plymouth. Bought it in '57 after graduating from high school. Cost me 200 bucks. The white walls are fake.Age 16 Parents unable to drive so Dad thought my 1st. car that I bought should be something sporty but family useful.
My favorite was a Mercury Cougar, it was late 70's or early 80's model, can't remember exact year...dark navy blue....loved that car.I think there was a thread like this but I couldn't find it. Oh well, worth another go-around I figure.
This is my first car...a 1973 Mercury Cougar X-R7 Convertible.

Wowza! That's a real head-turner!1952 MG TD
No sweat! That car is worth seeing twice!Sorry for the duplication.
No, that’s a much newer model. Google a 96 RoadTrek Camper-van. I found a photo but it wouldn’t download. Everything was small but it had a fridge, stove, washroom/shower, tv/vcr, AC, furnace, etc. It fit in our garage.@Jules
Did it look a bit like this? I just googled a stock photo of what you described.
