Fashion, what are your comments on today's looks?

Yeah ah no! WTF?

I don't know, I like simple and classic. Jeans, t-shirt. I do like a ruffle on a sleeve or something. Not sure why. I have an army green jacket with a ruffle on the bottom. Really like it.

Geeze. Homeless? On so many drugs they didn't realize?

A number of years ago a homeless shirtless guy came into the nursing home I was working at. No longer in the laundry. But he asked about a shirt. I wanted to go to laundry and get him one out of the unmarked or donated pile but was afraid I'd get in trouble. Administration can be weird. I felt bad.

There's an older woman who hits the thrift stores like I do and she wears jean shorts in the winter. Usually a shirt and a vest, but shorts. I don't know why.
 
I remember my mom telling me when she worked at The Bay in Montreal she would have to wear gloves. She loved dressing up. Both mom and I liked the classic look. When I'm out and about, I just don't see women in whatever offices I visit having that sense of pride and that feeling of I know I look good in my outfit.

I'm not saying they look indecent or anything like that. It just looks like (to me anyways) that they threw pants and a sweater on and they are ready for work. Nothing wrong with pants and a sweater. I just remember having beautiful elegant suits with a beautiful blouse and nylons and heels and I would feel fantastic going to work. I don't think people take pride in what they wear, that's it , pride, they don't have pride. I felt like I was shining like a star when I dressed up for work.
 
We frequently walk the mall and some of the top-end fashion stores are showing some of the ugliest clothes. We just commented today on the number of knit outfits and bellbottoms in the windows. Looks like the 60's and 70's are coming back. There was one outfit today that was bell bottom jeans and a shear frilly top. I said it looked like something Naomi from Mama's Family would wear!

I like army green colours. Like a sage green.
