Spring has sprung.....this is the gardens next to my GP's office

This is a Horseshoe Monument...contains about 50,000 Horseshoes and is a monument to the Blacksmith in a small village in Nottinghamshire..

I's the largest Monument of it's kind and was built outside the old forge between 1945 & 1965... and is a tribute to the then local Blacksmith who built it..

It stands 17 feet high and 19 feet in Diameter...
