Last night, I did a bit of cleaning and putting away groceries. I felt fine while I was doing it, but I must have overdone it. I felt awful today.

It didn't help that my neighbor was playing music in his house from 4 am- 11 am. His house is far enough from mine that the music isn't loud enough to report, but it's loud enough that the constant pounding of the bass is disconcerting to sleep through.

I was able to rest with a guided meditation and felt a bit better, but I'm discouraged. I thought I was doing well yesterday.

how close is this neighbour to you..who is playing loud music at unsociable hours ?... just terrible... I really feel for you...

All the towels were washed and dried. They have all been placed back down on the floors, I do my little stomp, stomp dance! Then we start over. It looks like two bedrooms will need new carpet and the laminate wood flooring needs to be replaced in the hall. Luckily, I had 6 boxes of leftover laminate from the original installation, just need to have it installed.

I am not upset, strange enough. A nice fresh start will be wonderful to enjoy.

Had a delightful weekend. Picked up TGS Saturday morning and kept him here through late Sunday morning, then home for a nap while we adults prepped for our belated Easter family gathering (postponed due to bad weather). We were rewarded with spectacular weather and a terrific time was had by all.

Not sure what productive actions today will bring - perhaps a little decluttering and cleaning.
 
It's almost 11:30 and still only 54. Guess the weeds are safe for another day because it's too cold to go outside and dig in the dirt.

@caramel Do you live in a condo or a free-standing house?

The urgent care doctor wanted me to follow-up with my PCP. I called this morning and after haggling about a day and time, I have an appt this afternoon, but it was like pulling teeth. What is convenient for me, she never has an opening.
 
I texted. Instant response. 4am. Sir doesn't like doing Dawn Patrol. Said he'll get time "fixed" in computer. Riiiiight.

ETA: Rereading what I've posted in the past week or so, it looks like I've already started coloring myself gone from the bakery. I hope I can hang on until the end of next month, have the cataract surgery and then make up my mind about going back. Right now I really don't want to be bothered anymore :(

Today, it is downright COLD outside!! It will probably be the last time that I will be using my oven, for the summer...unless we get an unexpected cool spell. We have a lot of eggs, so I'm going to be making quiche for dinner.

I'm hoping to trim some more bushes later, in the evening.

My main project for the day will be

No, I used to be that way. These days it takes me some time to get it done. I don't enjoy the shopping needed. I hate having people in the house that I don't know. In the good old days, I would already be out there taking care of business, now it is just another thing on the list. Shoot, I am just happy that I did not get upset about the whole situation.
 
I saved myself around one hundred dollars today utilizing delivery from Dollar General as well as the local supermarket. I am doing a load of clothes and a load of dishes. I might take a nap later.
I was scheduled to work but, since I went in Saturday and did some baking to fill in they let me have off today. I feel like a princess. 🤣
