Why were they asked not to take photos ? I mean the sky certainly belongs to everyone .........My brother emailed me some photos of the Aurora Borealis, from Vancouver, where he lives.
Sister's mother-in-law took awesome photos when she was in Alaska. She did it on the sly, as they were asked not to take photos.
The only reason I can think of, is, they were selling postcards of the aurora borealis.Why were they asked not to take photos ? I mean the sky certainly belongs to everyone .........![]()

We were lucky enough to see the beautiful Northern Lights dancing across the sky when we were tent camping in remote areas of both Alaska and Canada. A sight to behold.
