In the wee hours of the morning, I was listening to my songs, particularly ends followed by beginnings, to try and figure out what order they will be in on my upcoming album. Since it is multi genre, it will be tricky. I'd like to follow a similar "formula" as my first album, which worked quite well. But I've added an old funk-novelty tune, a sweet Rock and another in a genre I have yet to categorize. Those genres weren't on the last LP. I'll have to smoothly integrate them with the Smooth Jazz, Latin and Dance tracks. I'm still playing around with the order. I estimate I'll have about 6 weeks to get it right.🎹🎵🎶

I slept for most of the daylight hours. I still felt tired after I woke up around 5:30 p.m. Even my son said I looked tired. Good thing I didn't have to cook anything. I had left over penne pasta with broccoli, sauce and shredded mozzarella for lunch and made a PBnJ sandwich for dinner. I sent a couple of emails, played my games, talked with BFF and watched a little T.V. I loaded and ran the dishwasher. Glad I got that done early. I also sorted laundry and of course I checked in here a couple of times today to see what's going on.

I was done at 8:30 this morning. Funny how much can be accomplished when I'm left to my own devices. Could have stayed and piddled around milking the clock for another 30 minutes, but meh...

Gotta get out there and water the flowers and deadhead some stuff that I didn't bother with yesterday. Then I'm gonna sit around on my dead center for the rest of the day.

Practice makes perfect. I don't want to disappoint @Trish. Right now I'm only a Lady in Waiting and have a long way to go before I even get to Duchess status, let alone Queen🫅 I'm still achieving, still pursuing...

@hawkdon How soon will you get the new scrip for your aching paws?

@VaughanJB Hope you're well on the road to recovery.

@aei You sure did use up a lot of words and paragraphs to say what boiled down to one short sentence!

I think he is giving me the same pain med I have now, hydrocodone/apap 5/325....it helps to a certain degree, so guess that is all I can hope for...still using ice/heat and wrist

Goober has, and still is, taking up a lot of my time.

....but I love it!

I put him out this morning, and I'm happy to say that he is back to being himself, both Jekyll and Hyde!

He's out there running around and playing....I just heard him ring the bell. I have 2 new toys for him, later. (well, one is 'mostly' new)

Once there is shade on the porch (after 12 noon), I'll go out and play with him. Right now, that is a 'hot spot', and I'd cook!!!

Today, I start letting Goob wander more, and also teach him to go with me as I do things around the yard. For now, I still want him to stay in the general area of the house, but he is not limited to the porch area anymore.

I slept in this morning and have just finished my coffee...haven't even started breakfast yet. Everything has been shifted, time wise.

Since we were in town yesterday, we are staying home today. I have a to-do list that I might look at now and then, but have small hopes of anything more than 'looking' actually getting done!
😅🙃😂.

Hopefully, I'll get caught up with some of the past post, later today. For now, I'm ready to eat!!

good about the pain relief for your hands.. tell us what they are when you get them. I'm given Co-codamol for the OA pain in my fingers... they help but I don't like to take them every day...
Looked this up - for others who also don't know what it is, it's codeine plus paracetamol (aka acetaminophen).

Glad it helps you, HD.

Another lacy night. Doncha hate when that happens?
What a perfect description of that irritating, frustrating nighttime sleep pattern of sleep, wake, sleep, wake, sleep, wake.

I'll have to remember that expression.

@hollydolly: I have a terrible stomach sensitivity to codeine (not technically an allergy), in that it makes me vomit. Acetaminophen is also a no-go because it can provoke a pancreatic (sphincter of oddi) attack, which is excruciatingly painful.

Seems a lot of meds that help one thing cause problems elsewhere. The OA in my fingers is less painful and occurs far less often than a few years ago. Might be the daily Glucosamine & Chondroitin supplements, but whatever it is, I'm happy for fewer flare ups.

Off to the dog groomer again! I went yesterday, thinking yesterday was Tues and being the wrong day, the groomer couldn't take my dog.

My dog hates car rides and now d/t her age, she can't hop up on the seat, so she cried on the floor all the way. OMG, thank goodness it's just a few miles. Plus, she doesn't like being lifted up.

I'll either have to try lifting her into a carrier and hope I can carry it. She on;y weighs about 15-16 lbs, but heavy for me with a carrier.

I tried to find a mobile groomer, but not nothing near enough. No "U-Wash-Dog" places either.

Maybe the groomer could come out to the car and carry doggie in. Remind her that you’re a senior (with a bad back). Little doggie will probably be happy to put her leash on and walk back to the car when it’s over.

Yes, I thought of that, too, with the mention of it.
When the Tylenol (acetaminophen, or paracetamol) has codeine with it, it's a stronger, more effective pain reliever, but not good for many of us, who feel very awful from it, even tho it's "not technically an allergy...":eek::rolleyes:
Good phrase for that!
