Forget the Bible, forget the notion humans are superior, created in god’s image all of this is BS. The truth is all life is equal mankind just figured out how to destroy it.
That introduces the problem of information cropping up all by itself, and then water deciding to arrange it in a DNA code, assemble molecular machines capable of deciphering and understanding that code, and capable of following its meticulous instructions, and other molecular machines to constantly examine and repair the code. All which indicates a mind at work since, in such procedures, there is always mind involved. Molecular Machines | VarietygaloreIf man were really created in God's image, this would be a silly, ignorant, revengeful and mean God. For this reason I prefer to believe that God doesn't exist.
More like mankind is beginning to understand that all life is dependent on earths resources & the resources are declining. But kicking the can down the road works until it doesn't.. The truth is all life is equal mankind just figured out how to destroy it.

I always say the same thing. Humans are parasites and the earth is out host, eventually the host kills the parasites or the parasites kill the host.
Adam did not resemble God in the sense of having God’s flesh and blood. Scripture says that “God is spirit” (John 4:24) and therefore exists without a body. However, Adam’s body did mirror the life of God insofar as it was created in perfect health and was not subject to death. If man were really created in God's image, this would be a silly, ignorant, revengeful and mean God
For this reason I prefer to believe that God doesn't exist.
I hear what you're saying Ed, but the same could be said for many other creatures as well. For example, the army of squirrels that are hell bent on stealing each and every last apple off my apple tree. They are selfish and corrupt.I am human but I am not keen on eradicating the human race. My point is humans are corrupt, selfish beings who alter and destroy nature for self gain.
There is no stopping what has already begun except to start over. Perhaps the next world will be better off without us.
But they're just animals @Nathan acting on instinct. Humans are more intelligent than that. We are smart enough to see an advantage to corporate greed and this is what is contributing to the destruction.I hear what you're saying Ed, but the same could be said for many other creatures as well. A guy used geolocation devices to follow America's recycling and find out where it finally winds up, and how it gets repurposed. The trail ended at massive remote properties in Turkey and I think China, where tons of aluminum cans and plastic bottles are just dumped after being transported from cargo ships.I am not sure mankind purposely set a definitive course to destroy the earth. It has happened very slowly, and we really didn't know a lot of the problems. But, the one's we did know we were causing, some very creepy people decided that making a profit was/is more important than well-being. That has harmed nature, the people, and maybe our future.
Humans may be more intelligent than squirrels, but I think we act on instinct as well. Actually, I would have to say, "Humans may be more intelligent than some squirrels".But they're just animals @Nathan acting on instinct. Humans are more intelligent than that. We are smart enough to see an advantage to corporate greed and this is what is contributing to the destruction.
