Sunglasses, and all about them, how many pair do you own?

I have one(1) Ray-Ban Predator that I bought 25yrs ago or so.
Would cost $145 to replace today.
Love the curved lenses. My eyelashes don't hit them. That would be annoying.

I used to have two Ray-Ban's but someone liked one of them and took them about 15yrs ago.
I watched them do it LoL and made it a gift to them.

I’ve got one pair of prescription sunglasses and two pairs of glasses that turn into sunglasses as needed. I forget what they are called but I love them. My eyes are too bad to buy cheap sunglasses. I ruined my first pair of sunglasses swimming in my salt water pool.

I have a wraparound pair that I used to wear over my glasses, until I had cataract surgery. Now I save them for visits to the eye doc, if they dilate my eyes. I have another pair that are inexpensive but decent.

You let someone steal your sunglasses?
Why?

I like darkened Safety 'Glasses' usually with adjustable bows. I all about the place with mowing and trimming, saws and all the usefull tools in the Garage and Tractors to till ground to grow stuff here. Most likely 3 M or better if I see them.

I have one inexpensive pair. However, wearing these sunglasses is now causing me to stumble. Maybe they are too darkly tinted. So I avoid wearing them when walking long distances.

It's the same for me, if my sunglasses are too darkly tinted, they can cause me to stumble.

Since I had cataract surgery a few months ago, everything is quite a bit "brighter". So, now, I keep sunglasses in the car, truck, workshop, near the front door, etc. If I step outdoors on a sunny day, I have a pair of sunglasses handy wherever I am.
For years I've got by with work issue dark safety glasses. I had a cataract surgery a few weeks ago and I just spent $AUD 269.00 on a pair of polarised Oakley sunglasses. The Maui ones were $359.00.😳

My regular prescription glasses are transitions. I still have two pairs of the monstrous fit-over sunglasses. One for walking on bright days and the other in the car. I need that extra side protection.
