What are you really bad at doing but would love to do?

Art... crafts.... singing....


... altho' the latter always makes me smile... There was someone who I used to work with , and for some reason she thought that it was impossible for me to do anything badly.. and one day we were all singing at work, and just doing a line each from Whiter shade of pale... She couldn't sing.. and I said I couldn't either but I sang my line, and she threw down her work, and exclaimed.. ''I bluddy KNEW you'd be able to sing''... :ROFLMAO:
I really can't but her brain by then wasn't accepting that I was incapable of anything...
 

I tried and tried to play the banjo. I just couldn't make my fingers do the right thing. I guess it's poor dexterity. I went to a banjo and fiddle contest and there was a kid about 8 years old whipping out tunes like crazy. I guess you either have it or you don't. I gave the banjo to my son who is much more talented than I am.

I can sew by hand... but since I was a child at school, I have been useless at learning how to use a sewing machine. Every time I use one, the bobbins get tangled up, the needles break... I'm useless at it...and I would love to be able to do it...

I bought a brand new sewing machine four years ago and there it sits. I am actually afraid of it, lol.
 
I would love to have a sense of direction and not be afraid of highways and long distance driving. I miss the days when my husband and I would go on trips. He drove for the most part but would let me take over when he needed a nap. Of course, he knew we were at a point that I would not have to find my way through a large city. He would put me behind the wheel and say just go straight.

I have a better sense of direction now but the highway scares the c+++ out of me. It would be wonderful to just get in the car and go. Yes I know there is gps, I know you can get it on your cell phone. Well I am one of those crazy people who do not have a cell phone. I also drive a car that is fro 2008, it is just a simple car that belonged to my husbands aunt. It came to us when she passed. Had 20k miles when we got it in 2009, has only 40K miles now,
 
There are many things like food preparation and cooking or playing musical instruments, I am rather primitive at doing. But do not "wish or love" I could. If I want to do something that has enough importance and I am potentially capable, will learn, study and practice how. I could learn to cook better but won't bother because I don't care enough and can adequately get buy just microwaving pre-processed foods, a modern convenience.
 
I could never get roller skating or surfing. I felt terribly clumsy at it. I love to watch people who can. I looks so freeing to glide like that. Ice skating I couldn't do, my ankles are too weak. I love watching ice skating.
