Reporting restriction over the name of the suspect in Monday's stabbing in Southport has just been lifted.
After hearing legal submissions, telling the court that not releasing his name would allow others to "spread misinformation", Judge Andrew Menary KC declined to make an order under section 45 to conceal his identity. He said, "Continuing to prevent the full reporting has the disadvantage of allowing others to spread misinformation, in a vacuum."
17 year old Axel Muganwa Rudakubana, born 7 August 2006, has been charged with 3 counts of murder, 10 charges of attempted murder, and a charge of possession of a bladed article.

Government is supposed to support and represent their citizens. All too often, we have seen government only taking care of themselves and their cronies. It’s like many of the world leaders got together and decided to make changes that puts the average Joe on the bottom.
I’m not so sure we are a Republic anymore. I believe we are now being run by the Oligarchs and our government has become an autocracy or a monarchy.
The government we have today no longer acts on behalf of the citizens, The government we have today acts on behalf of their own free will for their own benefit.

Axel Rudakubana is charged with murdering three little girls and harming 10 others at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport with a 'curved kitchen knife'.
The 17-year-old, who turns 18 in just six days time, was born to Rwandan parents in Cardiff in 2006 before moving to the village of Banks in Lancashire in 2013.
He is accused of carrying out the attack that killed Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine.
Rudakubana is also accused of the attempted murders of eight more children, along with dance teacher Leanne Lucas, 35, and businessman John Hayes.
Up until now, the teenager's identity could not be revealed because suspects under 18 receive automatic anonymity in all UK court cases, except for in exceptional circumstances.
But after a successful application to the judge by the Mail, Rudakubana's name can now be reported.

...5 people still in hospital fighting for their lives. He must have gone in there like a maniac slashing with the 10 inch knife, to be able to do so much serious harm...Murdered. Six, Seven, Nine.

It is good that his name, family history and photos are published. This ends all speculation. However it should have happened sooner.

I understand why you are asking. But does it really make a difference for the murdered people and their families?
The death penalty was not enacted into law with the idea that it would act as a deterrent as many of those people who oppose it have stated, it was enacted as a means of punishment. If a killer brutally kills a person or a child, that person would probably qualify for the death penalty. If a person commits a mass murder or if the person is a serial killer, he/she would qualify for the DP.
A person that kills masses of people or children cannot be rehabilitated. This comes from years of studies. This comes from the FBI, but let’s face it, their reputation hasn’t been the best the past few years. We used to get graphs of repeated murderers that did get out on parole and many of them did repeat the act again. The rate of recidivism of those paroled from prison are very high.
At one time, Pennsylvania stopped using the death penalty because “they” (the Governor) made the statement that the cost of drugs were too high. We had a good laugh with that one. It is expensive to execute a prisoner because of the costs associated with appeals.
Part of this comes with lack of transparency. Police have to show the public they have the suspect not a suspect and release as much information as possible. Also if a 17 year old is committing adult crimes like murder that's a suspect not worthy of juvenile protections ment for a 14 year old.
