Should Wile E. Coyote catch the Roadrunner?

Yesl you've seen the cartoons. Poor Wile never gets the bird. Is it about time he catches the Roadrunner, or it it still " Beep Beep" and a pile of dust as he's down the road?

Coyotes can run more than twice as fast as a roadrunner. Also, roadrunners can fly short distances to escape predators. So much for cartoon accuracy. Lastly, they have a weird call that is nothing like beep, beep.
