What's for dinner ( or lunch )

Off to a bad start when I realised that nobody had brought milk in from the freezer. No time to thaw a bottle for breakfast, so it was a 3 mile drive to the 'convenience' store - not very convenient - for milk.

Pork chop with spiced marrow for dinner this evening.
you should have put the milk into a bowl of cold water it would have hawed quite quickly...

I always keep a 6 pack of Long life milk in the Barn so if I run out of fresh I've always got that handy

yes, i must wait also for one hour after taking my thyroid medicine first thing in the morning but that does not interfere with my breakfast. not being too active, i prefer a light brunch and a big dinner.
yes we're supposed to do it the other way round so they say to keep weight down. Eat a large lunch and a much smaller dinner...but I do the same as you.. I prefer dinner...:D

I am borderline diabetic (not on insulin or any diabetes meds). I have an early breakfast, sometimes a sandwich around noon, and a light meal for dinner.

O/H makes a power shake some days, for us. We always have apples around for between meals or an evening snack.

I've never been an apple lover tbh Pinks.... ..I eat fruit every day but only grapes and bananas..

I haven't been very well the last couple of days..I was hoping I'd feel better to go to the car show tomorrow but it's looking like I won't..

I didn't eat anything all day until about 10.30pm tonight and I had these little pastries

later today ( Sunday ).. if I don't go to the car show... I'll send time batch cooking for the freezer....
Might be Covid. I have had it this week and I know quite a few people who have also had it over the last couple of weeks.

Difficult to tell between Covid and a heavy cold tbh but I took two tests and both positive. It seems to be doing the rounds again :(

Does everybody eat breakfast as well as lunch and Dinner/

if you eat breakfast do you forgo Lunch ?

I don't seem to get hungry until about 11ish. I tend to eat breakfast if I am going out though, otherwise I end up getting hungry and buying something I don't really want. The only time I eat a cooked breakfast is if I am on holiday, it just seems like part of the experience :)

I'm sorry you've got Covid Trish... :( I hope you feel better soon..this isn't covid for me I know what it is... but thanks anyway.

@StarSong has got Covid as well this week.. for the 3rd time..

I'm the same with breakfast the only time I eat at breakfast time is on holiday.... and I enjoy it then...

It's not too bad atm just like a heavy cold. This is the advantage of not having to go to work though, you don't feel guilty having a sofa day, or two, or three ... :)

Hope you and @StarSong feel better soon. x
