Davey Do's Art Room

Looking forward to seeing the progress on the art room. I hope it smells of oil paints and turpentine and Davey Do has a lot of fun in there. It's great to have a room just for doing stuff, making a mess and not having to care about keeping it tidy. :)

After doing Claymation/Stop Motion animation for years, Trish, I watched scads of YouTube videos and noted a couple of artists had made rooms in order to create their story, whereas I used a stage. I recreated my original art room, in essence, initially built over 30 years ago, and it was NOT "tidy", as you say.

I moved into the basement where I can be untidy out of sight, Belinda redecorated the room in a colonial motif, and it is now my "study", with the best view of the valley of all in the house.

Creating this staging area Art Room has been a joy, using scraps of wood and things I have on hand.

You know I would do my art if no one ever saw it or appreciated it, but to have others share in my love & joy for art, it's ecstatically heartwarming!

Half the fun of having feet is Red Goose shoes, and half the fun of creating animations is the process. Building this new set really has me pumped, as I usually close down shop after six, and it's now after eight!

Like they say, "Make hay while the sun shines, and make rain when the clouds condense".

Oh! Maybe I need a roof for my set!

Great minds think alike...erm. ....I forget the rest....

yes on the wall..a doodle..I used to doodle a lot but hands won't let me now
I just do the for exercise and when I am bored and I never know what will appearšŸ˜†..l
I am sure you will come up with somehing great
