What have you bought recently?

It sounds like fun @ Noolsg. I have a mix of mugs also, a few more
feminine like, and others more bold and male like ;)
@noolsg It does sound fun! I just removed a set of mugs from my kitchen cabinet to go in the attic. I had mugs from trips, work, etc in my medicine cabinet, mainly to store them, but filled with bathroom junk.
The bathroom remodel does not include a medicine cabinet so the mugs will go in my kitchen as extra. They look mostly male BTW. 😁

my experience of their clothing has not been positive.. but that said...I do buy leggings and crop leggings from them because they're really good quality, and cost less than £5 a pair... Every piece of jewellery I've bought has broken within days...one piece snapped as I took it out of it's packet.. so I don't buy clothing, shoes or jewellery from temu,.. and especially don't buy jewellery since watching the consumer programme

What people have to realise with Temu ... @Georgiagranny ..I'm really talking to you and anyone else whose not used to Temu ... is when you're new to the site to remember that this is not a shop this is a platform d

What people have to realise with Temu ... @Georgiagranny ..I'm really talking to you and anyone else whose not used to Temu ... is when you're new to the site to remember that this is not a shop this is a platform for millions of sellers.. so if you see something you like and want to buy... copy the description of the item and put it into the search bar of Temu... and search for lowest price... you'll be amazed at just how much money you can save that way.. (y)
remember you have to spend a minimum of £15... but then you get free postage.. and things do take about a week to arrive
And ALWAYS check each order for a price adjustment. TEMU must us dynamic pricing. Even a few cents adds up quickly.

Today I bought a set of three flameless flickering candles powered by 2 AA batteries. They look real. They are very safe, no flame, no toxic smoke. You can use them near companion animals without worrying about the candle getting tipped over and causing a fire, or doing harm to a cat or dog. Candles are a wonderful way to set room ambience. Also great for meditation.

you should have given me a shout. I have 2 sets in the sideboard I no longer use, complete with reflecting silver and gold glass trays...you could have had mine..

Y'all would be proud of me. I have spent zero, zed, null, cero, zéro dollars/cents in a week. Yay me!

Today, just to get out for a while, we went to a St. Vincent de Paul store. Oh, my. I wanted everdamthang! There were treasures every which way we turned. DD didn't spend any money, either, but DGD did. Books and clothes. An LLBean winter jacket (like new!) for her BF, a Calvin Klein jacket (also like new), a positively gorgeous sweater with a cowl neck and a pair of pleated dressy slacks for herself. I didn't ask, but I don't think she spent even $50 for the lot.

Tell you what: for someone setting up housekeeping, they could have furnished every room, including the kitchen, and beefed up their wardrobe as well for precious little $$. There was a brand new, still in the sealed box, Rowenta iron for $50. Just for sh!ts and giggles, I Googled it. $167.50!

This thrift store was head and shoulders better than the Goodwill stores in our area, and it was also neat, clean and very well organized. It was such a nice store that I'd have felt safe even buying upholstered furniture there, something we're warned never to buy from a thrift store. It sure was fun to browse there.
