Hit the Patio This Afternoon

Just because...

It was a beautiful day so I asked Hon if she'd like to share a drink outside. It was sunny and crisp on the Patio at our local Pub. Hon had a Singapore Sling...I had a Coors Light. We clinked glasses to toast the lovely occasion.

Gotta relax once and a while and treat each other! :)
 

"Would you like to share a drink with me?"

Those were my wife's very first words to me when we met almost 35 years ago at a Club. We had both showed up out of the blue to watch the same Band play that evening. :)
 
That's how I met my husband, at the local pub across from where I used to work. He was with a couple of work mates, and I was with a girlfriend. I wasn't a drinker and only had a Bacardi and coke. But it later developed into a loving relationship which produced 2 lovely sons. That was over 57 years ago. Isn't it strange how you never forget the exact time and place you met? Gee I miss him.

I met my husband in a tavern 46 yrs ago. šŸ˜
 
Yea, glad to hear it wasn't fatal. :) I too met Misa in a bar waiting for a band to start. She came in with a girlfriend and Misa sat next to me.. The first set of music finished. The band had huge amplifiers but they had played an acoustic set. I leaned over and asked Misa if she would like another drink, cause she was going to need it. She started laughing because she knew what I meant. The band was going to blow our ears off with heavy country rock the next set, and they did. That was enough to start the magic. 36 years now, and doing great. @Beezer Congrats on your companionship!! :)
