Settle an argument about airfryers

We have an ongoing debate about airfryers in our house. My husband insists it would transform our lives but I don't want one. I am a traditional cook, I like my oven. I don't want a great big gadget taking up room on my worktops and having learn how to use it and clean it. Worse still, if we hardly use it at all it's a waste of money.

Is it really worth the money?
( Just want to say I'm pleased to see someone using the word 'worktop' instead of counter, which makes me think of a shop.)

I wouldn't want one like that..I feel I'd be as well using the oven... :D
Okay, then in terms of the outcome of the food prepared, which option would you choose among the appliance you have? (Question for all readers of this post.) And is a choice against the air fryer, in certain cases, simply a matter of what it won't accommodate size-wise?

What cooking would you still prefer an oven for? what for an air fryer? and for that matter, maybe what for a toaster oven?

A few years ago, I bought a 5.8 Quart COSORI basket type sit fryer.
We use it several times a week making everything from cornbread, biscuits, to chicken, veggies and a lot of other things.
I liked it so well, I bought a 2.1 quart version for the house in town.
