Which Superhuman Ability would you choose?

I would choose to be able to read minds. Like @hawkdon , to pick out bad people and find the liars.

I am already invisible.

And I can morph. It just takes a long time to gain weight or lose weight. ;)

@Radrook , you should have included a poll in this thread.
Thanks for the useful suggestion. I am relatively new in participation here and still learning. I will attempt it in my next thread. :)

This one isn't on the list: The ability to not require sleep. I could get a lot more done.

That would add 2920 hours of wakeful time per year. .
29,200 hours in ten years.
233, 600 hours in 80 years
9733.3 days
36.72 years added to your time being awake.

I have no desire to be invisible, nor to read minds. There's no one I want to spy on, and crawling around in the dark recesses of someone else's mind could be very unpleasant. No thanks.

Sign me up for super strength; that would suit me just fine.

Very true. Using invisibility in certain no ethical ways, or delving into minds without permission, would indeed violate the other person's right to privacy from the prying minds or eyes of other creatures. BTW What would you do with the super strength?

BTW
Mel Gibson starred in a film in which he was rendered capable of involuntarily hearing what nearby females were thinking.

There was also this other film called Hollow Man in which a scientist who was achieved invisibility, succumbed to his baser instincts and began abusing his power.

If I had the strength, I could accomplish a task myself instead of needing assistance from someone.

God help him. 😆

That's not surprising in the least. If you want to see someone's true character, just give him some power.

Very true. What keeps many humans in line is the fear of getting caught and punished.

Yes, in the film, Gibson was often very surprised by what females were thinking about him. Totally unexpected.

Shape-shifting. I'd love to have the ability to morph into anything or anyone, from a flying insect to the governor of my state.
A man after my own heart. That's for me also because needs can change in different situations so the ability to shapeshift supersedes them all.
