There are lots of AI Summary Generators for many uses. These can be applied to voice, text, meetings, et al

For the average person, some doctors are now using an AI summary at your medical visit to summarize and analyze it. Do you trust this method. Would you agree to this.

These summary generators could be used in any setting, not just with a doctor.

I think that they would be interesting to see and experiment with in many situations, even to provide a record of routine telephone calls with a business.

In my working days we used to say that the person that prepares the minutes controls the meeting.

I would think that there might be a strong bias in favor of the physician. šŸ¤”

I think it will help the health professionals get away from being data collectors. If you notice now, they have to enter everything in the system taking away from time with patients. If the data AI entered is accessible to the patient they can question and have it corrected.

After writing this, I was thinking about my giving approval for AI to summarize the meeting of any kind would be ok if I too got a copy. At least, I could think about it and dispute the report, if needed.

The AI report is a summary of the appointment you just had- you were kind of there. I don't think it takes a massive amount of computing power to say, "Your gall bladder is normal".
The moment somebody sticks "AI" on to anything, it's either mind control, or slaves to robots. There's a lot of hysteria. It's somehow a slippery slope, and the next thing you know, you'll be having your laptop's baby.
