Seniors, Are You Comfortable Being Naked in Front of Others?

With my wife, no problem. In public spaces where that is expected or the norm, I can do it but there is always a feeling of vulnerability and, not having been in a gym since 2020, I'm not looking even my limited best. But I take my cloths off at home every chance I get. Most cloths make me too warm or are binding around the groin. So alone or with the wife, naked is normal.

It's a matter of years of conditioning both by the media and real life people. My husband didn't seem to care about me being a bit overweight, however but I was teased for years when I was younger. That stays with you. I once knew a girl named Kip who was gorgeous. She was a friend of a friend.

We hung out with a couple of other young ladies one day and were walking past the school yard where some young men were playing ball. They saw Kip, ran over and were literally hanging off the fence to get a glimpse of her. She had been overweight (but lost several pounds) and still had self image issues. She had commented that she had "nappy" eyelashes; in reality they were long and full. People wear mascara to have lashes like hers!

As far as falling in love again, I had said even before my husband died that if he should pass away.."I don't want another one!" :LOL: At my age, I don't want to be bothered. Relationships require work that I'm no longer willing to put in. I'm happy being at peace. I know what it's like to be in love but not be at peace. That isn't something I want to subject myself to again. Plus I'm very independent, willful and I honestly think my husband was the only man who could handle me. :ROFLMAO:

Yes so do I, I also am nude in my back yard a lot, It feels good, also after being out & when I get home off come the clothes. my sister visits me & I am naked I asked her if she minded she told me she was ok with & in another instance my sister inlaw visited I was naked & she said she was ok with it & as a nurse she had seen it all. I have been to a nude beach as well, not that far from me, I shave my pubic hair & balls & thought that people would stair but no, as we are much the same anyway! As an older person I have no problem with my body or being naked.

Went to a smaller town a couple hours out of Kyoto in about 1990. A park over run with small deer perhaps it was Nara. When we needed a bathroom there was just on old building, unisex with no partitions anywhere the urinal/ ‘pot’ was all around the outside edge. Everyone did heir business without sitting and looked toward the ceiling .. much as in an elevator. Not really comfy for me but my bladder did get emptied.
