makes me feel the most sad because it depicts a double teenage suicide caused by overbearing parents placing their societal values over their son’s desire for a girl “from across the tracks”

FYI while looking up a list of songs in this category I came across one I had never heard before: Think – Once You Understand by some group I have never heard before ChiefBoyScout Like Patches it is a stinging rebuke of parents. I am guessing it did not get played much because the establishment censored it.
