Never do those. Never need to.Cheers ! New Years resolution ?
It is wet, with the water dripping off the rock ceiling, hot and humid with all that water. It is dark, dirty and very noisy with all the machinery. Rather dangerous work. Rock falls kill miners. What's it like working in a copper mine?
I ended up being a complete alcoholic whilst living and working in Queenstown. Cirrhosis at age 30.I am glad you survived to tell about it. Do you have any health issues caused from working in the mine?

When I was working out of the Carlisle, PA barracks, I received a call from our Dispatcher that West Virginia State Police had contacted us and was requesting assistance from Maryland and Pennsylvania that they had a Trooper in pursuit of a wanted felon and needed us to be on the lookout (BOLO) for a vehicle for which they gave all of the vehicle’s necessary information. Make, model, year, color, license plate numbers and VIN. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance at stopping the driver because Maryland caught the suspect.![]()
