I'm not sure of the exact year - in the mid 1970s. I started to add that it was ironic when "hotpants" came out, there was no similar mandate from the (primarily male) members of upper management. :)

Hot pants in 1971 were actually my work uniform ... that's true.. I worked in a ladies clothing boutique.. and we had to wear a uniform of whatever was high fashion at the time, and were supplied with that by the company.. so Hotpants, knee high platform suede boots.... and silk shirts were de rigueur for the summer of '71

certainly here in the Uk the female leaders all wore skirts and skirt suits the majority of the time ..the Queen, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.. Scottish First minister Nicola Sturgeon... and now the new Queen Camilla.. and the Princess of Wales Catherine..

And every woman your presented is a royal from the UK. The attitude seems to be considerably different than the USA where at best, a woman might wear a skirt of some sort, but it's fitted, unlike any of the above examples.

Not at all.. Margaret Thatcher, and Nicola Sturgeon are common people.. nothing even remotely royal about them....

Me too.

Still I put on my head phones and gave him a chance. The first thing he said was that Biden lost because he wore a black suit and that means death. Then we see a picture meant to show Margaret Thatcher in her skirt, but it accidentally includes popular Reagan in the dreaded black.

When I worked (in banks) I wore a skirted pantsuit or a dress every day, no pants, I just thought I looked better and more professional that way, plus I'm more physically comfortable in a skirt. Didn't get me promoted.

Then he started talking about Kamala and obviously didn't like her and couldn't pronounce her name. So I quit listening.

In short it seems Hilary and Kamala would have won if they'd only dressed like Queen Elizabeth I. (I did read that she wore that ruff around her neck to cover up some huge moles.)

He never said that. What he said was that he was sure that Biden was being set up to be replaced based on how he had been dressed. Dark, nearly black, suit. Low dexterity necktie knot used when fingers are arthritic or lack a fine sense of touch. Wrong shirt collar for his face shape.

And he was replaced. He never lost because he didn't run for office.

You're right, I forgot that Thatcher was in the lineup when I made my comment and I don't know who Sturgeon is. My point was mostly I guess, that it's important people in the UK. Are the standards of dress maybe different depending on the region?

In all my time with Corporate America I owned one fitted suit. One bright red silk number with a ruffle at the rear of the jacket. Real life and Hollywood shop differently.

Nicola Sturgeon was NOT and never has been a Prime Minister ..as I said in the picture when I posted it of her ....she was first Minister of Scotland.. that's not and never will be a Prime minister , her job was leader of the Scottish national party.. ..at no time has she ever been prime Minister !...good grief , perish the thought !

Texas would declare war. Canaday will have to vote each province as in accepting the USA. Of course, congress will repel them.
Washington can't do anything that makes purr-fact sense. Its like it has to include decades of lying to us! Canada will pay the debt!
