I had fish for New Years Day, too. (It's a good luck tradition in my family.)

I smear a little pesto on the bottom of my pan (or butter with garlic powder), add my fish and some cut up onions....and let it simmer/steam. When it's almost done, I sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top!

That sounds delicious, the way you cook it , and still quite simple method.
We used to love basil when we grew it.
It's the main ingredient for pesto.

All I use now, is a low level of water, with a cover ,and the salmon takes care of the rest. 😊

If I were to choose, I'd prefer living in a building with mixed ages - more stimulating and more of a real-life mixture.

I agree but the actual problem is that there are zero services or tiny help of any kind in our building, and most of us need something.

there are numerous appointments and phone calls to be made, and essential chores, while I am tired and trying not to become overwhelmed.

That’s a simple and healthy way to cook it. I need to start cooking more seafood, it’s just so expensive in the interior.

So far, I've found neither of those,

meaning that he can do only smaller tasks, and same for me.... and no aide for that either.

We'll see but none of that sort of help so far.

No laundry washers or dishwasher in these apartments.
 
Good morning. I hope your in a good mood to start your day. I have to get that straightened out first. Having a chronic illness takes a certain inner strength to remember. It is that "I CAN do this. I CAN do this", kind of attitude. I have a question for you.

How do you put in all the emoji's in your posts? Is there a way to find all those different one's here in this post? Do I have to search for new ones every time? Doesn't it take a lot of time to find the "right" ones? I will only use a smiley, but I would like to be able to be as fluent with them as you are. Any secrets? :)

You're right, Dennis. It takes inner strength and plenty of it, to remind ourselves each morning, that we cannnnn do it!😊🥰😀

I find all of my emoji's, within this reply box, when I click on the smile, and I do look for the ones I like for a certain person and message and intent. Sometimes it will list the ones I used, so I might repeat one of those. I enjoy doing it.
