What exercise have you done today?

None. I've had a nagging headache all day so have only done what I had to do to get through the day. When I feel better I will eat and lift weights per usual. :)

201 lbs this morning. Guess I'm paying fot overdoing the Chinese take out and skipping the walk yesterday.

Took the shorter 1.25 mile walk on the nature trail this morning. It was 28 degrees with a wind chill of 22 so I didn't feel like going the longer route.

Weighed in at 201 again this morning. :( Too nasty for a walk. 42 degrees and a steady rain forecasted for the whole day. A days drive north of here where my oldest son lives in Tennessee it was 29 and snowing. I did manage to drag myself out into my carport and do dead lifts.

Did better than me. This is the third day I have had zero motivation to exercise.

My exercise routine every day, 365 days/year, regardless of how crappy I feel:

I prepare two horses senior feed with needed supplements twice daily. I wash feed pans after each feeding.

If I have enough energy, they get a “lick and a promise“ brushing.

I put hay outside, they eat for a bit, then go to pasture if the weather suits them.

I clean stalls.

I come in the house and go horizontal for an unlimited amount of time.

201 again this morning. This cold snap we are having seems to make me hungry all the time. Maybe in a former life I was a bear and I still have the instinct to fatten up for hibernation.

This morning was 38 degrees, gray and overcast, with a wind chill of 32. But the rain had finally stopped so I forced myself to walk the 2 mile nature trail.

I need that, I want that. Animals, caring for them. The type of exercise....that includes exercise for my soul.

Shoveled snow off the sidewalk and some paths for the little dogs; the plow had not been by so no point in doing the driveway and approach for the mail person. Came inside, removed boots, mittens, scarf, and coat. And then the plow went by. Put it all back on and did the rest. Now it's snowing again, lol.

30 minutes (4.2 miles) on the exercise bike. 4 sets each of quads, hamstrings and calves.

I'm having it replaced in April, and the workouts are just a way to build strength for rehabbing after the surgery. I enjoy the exercise, but lately though, my knee has been really creaky and crackly for the next couple days.

Monday, I am going to try my first water aerobics class. I figured there would be less trauma in the water.

Can anyone tell me what to expect?
