The world needs more love
I look around and am amazed at how fast time has gone. There is still so much I want to do.
I know it bugs me every day... even if someone told me I had a gauranteed 30 years left, I still because of nature.. wouldn't be able to do all that I'd like to do....I look around and am amazed at how fast time has gone. There is still so much I want to do.
I think ya lists too long!!I know it bugs me every day... even if someone told me I had a gauranteed 30 years left, I still because of nature.. wouldn't be able to do all that I'd like to do....
I feel that as long as I don't get any kind of horrible disease, now at 69, I probably have 10 good years to be fit enough to still do all I'd like to..
there was a thing in the paper t'day..My father told me that life is a race and there are no breaks. Pretty deep when you think about it.
what ?I think ya lists too long!!
what are you talking about ?...I am relatively young, I think like a young person, I walk and talk like a young person... why would my mind think I can do more than I can in the next 10 years ?or ya mind is too expansive?
Sad!just testing to see if you 'rise to the bait'?
I feel that as long as I don't get any kind of horrible disease, now at 69, I probably have 10 good years to be fit enough to still do all I'd like to..
Looking so much better than Ali McGraw
I would hope so...she's 4 years from 90, and I;m only in my 60's....Looking so much better than Ali McGraw![]()
exactly this....I think the secret is to just forget you are getting older. Think young. Have a determined mindset – do what you can but keep exploring, learning, taking reasonable risks, creating, set reasonable goals and most of all just enjoy every moment.
I have arthritis ... I've had it quite a few years...I had it in the above picture even then, I have it much worse now , mainly in my fingers and knees, I get steroid injections to keep the pain at bay.... long life doesn't run in my family.. father and paternal grandmother lasted longest to 82... the rest all died younger... except one great grandfather who was run over by a bus in his 90's...truth!You have more than ten years left if longevity runs in your family and you don’t develop debilitating arthritis.
Just keep moving and keep the muscles fluid. My human chiropractor and a few doctors have told me that is why I am still moving. I have a lot of trauma arthritis in my back and neck from re-schooling horses that were ruined by stupid humans and riding my snowmobile like it was the General Lee on “The Dukes of Hazzard”.
I am 77, walk with a cane, wear a back brace, brought this all on myself and I refuse to quit as long as I have a horse or two to care for. Everyone has a passion in this life to keep them sane, or at least they should have; mine happens to be horses since I was two years old
Just keep doing what you’re doing @hollydolly![]()
there's no need to feel sad holly you are still comparitively young and thinish??Sad!
I'm feeling sad for you... not for myself,..believe me..there's no need to feel sad holly you are still comparitively young and thinish??
You look great, soun intelligent and happy. Me too. I am older than you but expect to be around a good 10 yrswhat are you talking about ?...I am realtively young, I think like a young person, I walk and talk like a young person... why would my mind think I can do more than I can in the next 10 years ?
this is me less than 10 years ago...barring serious illness or injury , why wouldn't I be fit enough for the next 10 years to do what I want?... you have no idea....![]()
'sound' as in when I read her posts I hear them and they sound intelligent and happy even though I can't actually hear her voice...did you intend "soon intelligent and happy"?
