I have got this message now for over a week! Have you had any trouble getting your packages/mail? But the date on it just changed today. It was due on the 7th, then the snow storm. That date changed today to the 17th, it was the 7th I swear! :) That IS tomorrow. Finally. That was a 9 day delay.

Last month first class regular letter size mail, actually mailed on the days postmarked: Indiana to Iowa-- 16 days , Alabama to Iowa 9 Days. So far, the few packages we get in the mail have been 4-5 days at most coming from the farthest points.

The USPS makes my blood boil. Just the other day I received "confirmation" that my book had been delivered. The statement said it was left in the mailbox. Well, it wasn't. I'm in an apartment building so it couldn't have been removed after delivery. It's so frustrating! This is the third or fourth time it's happened. Luckily Amazon is good about refunds, but I wish it offered a choice of shipping companies. I'd much rather pay a bit more for UPS. It's a lot more reliable.

I'm not a fan of the USPS. I have a mailbox on the main road- 2 streets away from me. USPS won't deliver packages to the mailbox, so I have to drive 9 miles to get to the Post Office, and I have to drive by a Post Office 3 miles from me, but that's not in my zip code. ???????? And like Don M. said packages go for long rides. Allentown is about 30 miles from me, yet my parcel started out there- went to Ohio- then went to Tennessee-back to Ohio, then to Pittsburgh (300 miles from me)-then to Wilkes Barre, and finally to my post office.
FedEx delivers right to my door, without the scenic tour of the United States.

For the first time I had a problem with UPS! I had ordered an item and it was being shown as delivered. The driver left one of those notes on my door, claiming that they had left it. When I called they kept saying that it had been delivered when it hadn't. I have a ring camera and no one came on my front porch that day. I ended contacting the company and requesting a return and a refund. USPS has gotten much worse. They too, claimed to have delivered a package which they did not. This time it was expensive long underwear that had gone missing. Thankfully, the company I purchased from sent out another pair which I received.

My DH gets SO many deliveries from UPS and FedEx drivers it seems as if he has a personal relationship with each who shows up; like it is a reunion every time he sees a truck stop out front the house. Surprised he hasn't written them into our Trust and his Will!
🤣 When we lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a couple of years I got all of my work delivered by FedEx. I swear, the FedEx guy was my only friend! I even got him a Christmas present one year. (Soon afterward we moved back to Virginia.)

I prefer USPS and haven’t had any delays unless it was something that had to clear customs.

UPS is a nightmare to deal with in my area, very unreliable updates.

FedEx is pretty good.

Amazon’s communication is probably the best in my area.

got a parcel via the PO full of wine - probably illegal but it got through - life can be sweet!! {ps in some states in Oz there are restrictions on alcohol purchase and use?? - I was once their research officer - long story - but I think its all on the net??]

Package insured, content two items, overnight paid for, two weeks later post office called recipient to pick it up, tattered and content one item. It took pictures, affidavits and have note and a year to get $100.
