I agree. It's a real cute screwball comedy, which they can't seem to make anymore. One of the interesting things is the heavyweight cast they had in relatively minor roles: Dana Andrews, Dan Duryea, Elisha Cook, Jr., and the inimitable S.Z. Sakall; not to mention the great Gene Krupa and his orchestra. Come to think of it, it's time for a re-watch!Just watched Ball of Fire with Barbara Stanwyck and Gary Cooper. Kinda corny, definitely anachronistic, but fun anyway. He's a professor working with a group of ancient intellectuals writing an encyclopedia; she's kind of a gun moll.
