New car... wish me luck!

Well, as luck would have it my Audi A4 just started turning over very slowly and displaying a warning light, so although I can drive it I am concerned. I spoke with the salesman tonight and he said if it is drivable just to bring it in and they will still give me a trade-in value. I usually use an indie shop to service it but he said Audi can do the service at no cost to them and will most likely not dock me much. Even though it only has 36k miles after almost 9 years it seems I'm in the shop every 6 months. It was a first-year model, so that may be part of the issue. I'll be happy to move on.

As for why it was traded in with less than 3k miles I'm going to ask the dealership but it is certified so Audi will have to cover repair costs if there are any.

Thanks for all the good wishes! Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

Here it is, folks. Certified Pre-Owned 2025 so someone else took the depreciation and left me a great deal. I had forgotten after 9 years how giddy I could feel driving a new car! The car below it was my previous one so I definitely went "curvaceous" this time.

Nice! Those are low-profile tires. Are they the kind that don't go flat even if they're punctured?
No, they aren't run-flats but they are very thin. I bought the road hazard package. I had it the first few years on my A4 and it paid for itself between flat tires and curbed rims. A few months ago our roads were under construction. I hit an uneven patch of pavement and it flattened the tire and bent one rim. I've learned to drive more carefully these days!

Congratulations! What a beautiful car. I know you'll enjoy every mile you drive in it.
